Boundary Location Surveys
If you are building a fence, garage, new dwelling, or any other building, the first thing you need to know is where the property's boundaries are. Even if you find old pegs, these cannot always be relied on as they can be moved by fencing, earthworks, or other activities, and are commonly incorrectly identified.
Only a Licensed Cadastral Surveyor can legally establish a property's boundary.
What is involved?
Most boundary surveys can be carried out within a week of receiving your instructions to carry out the survey. McCracken Surveys will provide you with a plan showing your property and the boundaries identified. The boundaries of your property will be marked so that they are readily identifiable for your project.
The costs of a boundary survey vary depending on your requirements, property location, and the age of the original survey for you and your neighbouring properties.
